Procrastination when studied closely can be a beautiful opening to the way we are.

- David Whyte

Procrastination isn't a problem.

It's our relationship to procrastination that is.

Procrastination is often thought of as laziness, a lack of discipline, or lack of motivation.

But procrastination is none of those things.

Procrastination is reluctance a to turn towards what we desire, what we fear will happen if we ask for what we desire, or, perhaps even worse, what will happen if we get what we desire.

And perhaps it is sometimes the painful and uncertain space between who we have been, and what is not yet fully ready to emerge.

In, Beyond Just Procrastination, you will explore what's behind your own reluctance.

This isn't about forcing yourself into taking action, or shaming yourself into becoming a “better” version.

This is about uncovering a deeper awareness of what's happening underneath the surface, with honesty and self-compassion - and helping the person you already are, feel safe enough to ask for and moves towards what you desire.

In Beyond Just Procrastination, you will start a conversation with your own reluctance.

Hi, thanks for being here!

I’m Lisa and I a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, and I support highly sensitive people who are exhausted by the pressure to constantly hold everything together while quietly struggling underneath it all.

As a highly sensitive person and anxious perfectionist, I know what it feels like to live in constant tension with myself and how I show up in the world. I would overthink, hesitate, withdraw, push harder. i tried hard to be “normal.”

But in my 40s, I realised I’d had enough of fighting myself.

I decided I wanted to become more gently honest with myself.

To honour my experience. To stay present. To stop making myself wrong. To learn healthier boundaries. To begin putting something back into myself, rather than being so 'outwardly' focussed.

Today, much of my work centres around helping other women step out of that same exhausting relationship with themselves, and into something softer, more open and more kind.

Hi! I’m Lisa
